Job summary

Galvion LTD is seeking Manufacturing Operators for the Weekend Night Shift PM in Newport, VT. The role supports assembling, finishing, and quality inspections in a fast-paced environment, with a 36-hour week and pay for 40 hours.

Weekend nights include a 15% differential, and day-one benefits are provided. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, basic math, and the ability to read work instructions while prioritizing safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Support assembly, cutting, edge blasting, drilling, molding, painting, finishing and bonding tasks.
• Perform visual quality inspections and follow work instructions precisely.
• Help meet production goals while maintaining high quality standards.
• Operate and monitor basic shop equipment and tooling as assigned.
• Use tracking systems and machine programs to document progress.
• Adhere to safety procedures and participate in training.

Location: Newport VT
Weekend Shift: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM

What You’ll Do

Depending on your assignment, you’ll support the manufacturing of world‑class protective equipment through tasks such as:

• Assembly
• Cutting
• Edge blasting and drilling
• Molding
• Painting
• Finishing/ Trimming/ Bonding
• Stapling
• Performing visual quality inspections
• Following work instructions and safety procedures
• Supporting production goals while maintaining high-quality standards

What We’re Looking For

Successful candidates will have:

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic math skills
• Ability to read and follow work instructions
