Manufacturing Operator (Weekday Monday - Thursday Shift)

Join to apply for the Manufacturing Operator (Weekday Monday - Thursday Shift) role at ITW Rippey.

Job Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm.

Responsibilities:
  1. Promote a safe workplace and follow all established work policies.
  2. Perform molding, demolding, and other manufacturing duties as required.
  3. Help train and oversee less experienced manufacturing materials processors to achieve daily production goals.
  4. Assist lead-materials processor with manufacturing equipment operation to produce PVA sponge products meeting specifications.
  5. Clean and assemble PVA sponge molds.
  6. Follow established process operating and safety procedures.
  7. Contribute to maintaining and improving overall safety.
  8. Adhere to all company, department, quality, and safety procedures.
  9. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of recent or comparable manufacturing experience, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Ability to follow written instructions.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Teamwork capability.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Proven safety record.
Physical Demands:
  • Standing for 10-12 hours per shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual pushing of carts weighing 80-190 pounds.
  • Frequent hand and arm movements during mold handling and cleaning.
  • Other physical requirements as detailed.
Compensation:

Range: $17.80 - $21.80 per hour.
