Job Description

The Sewing Machine Operator is responsible for sewing assemblies according to work instructions, drawings, and standard practices. The role involves assembling parts using various sewing machines, performing duties outlined in training checklists, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Read drawings and follow instructions, manuals, and work practices.
• Stamp, serialize, and date stamp vital information such as part number, manufacture date, and serial number.
• Operate various machines including vacuum pack, index/test, sewing, and heat seal machines.
• Fold and pack vests.
• Complete detailed paperwork accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a safe work environment and communicate effectively.
