Abbott's Casa Grande, Arizona plant is hiring a Night Shift Production Operator in the Nutrition division. You will operate retort, aseptic filling and sealing equipment for Infant and Medical Nutritionals, follow procedures, and help ensure safety, quality and production targets.

This 12-hour shift runs from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM with every other weekend off. A High School Diploma or GED is required; previous experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.

What You’ll Work On

• The Production Operator is responsible for all tasks associated with retort or aseptically sterilizing, filling and sealing of Infant and Medical Nutritionals.
• Functions include, but are not limited to the operation of all related filling, processing and sterilizing equipment and sampling responsibilities.
• The operator will also be responsible for safety, general housekeeping and team support.
• Operators may also be required to operate finishing equipment (depalletizer, labeler, casepacker, capper, etc.)
• Operate machines and production equipment safely and in accordance with instructions.
• Monitor the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products.
• Maintain accurate daily production records so that manufacturing performance can be analyzed.

Shift

Please note: This is a 12-hour Night shift position from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM and allows you to have every other weekend off.

• Week 1: Mon - OFF, Tues - OFF, Wed - 12 hours, Thurs - 12 hours, Fri - OFF, Sat - OFF, Sun - OFF
• Week 2: Mon - 12 hours, Tues - 12 hours, Wed - OFF, Thurs - OFF, Fri - 12 hours, Sat - 12 hours, Sun - 12 hours
• Week 3: Mon - OFF, Tues - OFF, Wed - 12 hours, Thurs - 12 hours, Fri - OFF, Sat - OFF, Sun – OFF
• Week 4 :Mon - 12 hours, Tues - 12 hours, Wed - OFF, Thurs - OFF, Fri - 12 hours, Sat - 12 hours, Sun - 12 hours

You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

• Previous experience working in a regulated manufacturing work environment

The base pay for this position is

$17.15 – $34.25/hour

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
