JOB DESCRIPTION:

Manufacturing Operator - Tetra - Night Shift; The position is responsible for all tasks associated with Tetra filler, but also includes other equipment on the line. The operator will be expected to perform all quality and production checks required by work order or Preventive Maintenance. They will also perform housekeeping activities for filler, processor, and downstream equipment. This position involves the ability to troubleshoot on-line situations and to prioritize and complete several tasks concurrently within a given time frame and in a safe and efficient manner.

What You'll Work On

  • Effectively perform start-up and shutdown of equipment, daily/weekly care, batch change, and other operations in the fill room according to POMS and work order instructions, standard operating procedures, and operation manuals.
  • Operate the filler to assure proper filling of all product according to quality product specifications, performing quality checks, responding to production events, and performing basic troubleshooting to the equipment to maintain optimal performance.
  • Replenish production materials and perform transactions to ensure smooth running of the machine and accuracy in the inventory system.
  • Keep accurate documentation records of all production and quality reports (including POMS, Zarpac, manufacturing work order, maintenance work orders, etc).
  • Comply with all GMP, GDP, and safety requirements to ensure safe working environments and producing quality products.
  • Interpret and respond to various events on the line and report any abnormalities and product problems to Front Line Leader.

You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA, and Abbott policies and procedures.

Shift

Please note: This is a 12-hour Night shift position from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am and allows you to have every other weekend off.

  • Week 1: Mon - OFF, Tues - OFF, Wed - 12 hours, Thurs - 12 hours, Fri - OFF, Sat - OFF, Sun - OFF
  • Week 2: Mon - 12 hours, Tues - 12 hours, Wed - OFF, Thurs - OFF, Fri - 12 hours, Sat - 12 hours, Sun - 12 hours
  • Week 3: Mon - OFF, Tues - OFF, Wed - 12 hours, Thurs - 12 hours, Fri - OFF, Sat - OFF, Sun - OFF
  • Week 4: Mon - 12 hours, Tues - 12 hours, Wed - OFF, Thurs - OFF, Fri - 12 hours, Sat - 12 hours, Sun - 12 hours

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year production experience required. Must be able to work effectively within a team environment, possess excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to read and understand processes and instructions.

Pay

The base pay for this position is $18.65 – $37.35/hour.
