Caterpillar is seeking a Production Operator at our West Plains, MO location. You will operate machinery, support safety and quality goals, and participate in cross-training across multiple shop areas. The role offers competitive starting pay and comprehensive benefits.

You will work a first-shift schedule, with opportunities for overtime and career development through tuition assistance and merit-based increases.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and ability to function independently.
• Experience in manufacturing environments.
• Experience with hose fabrication is a strong plus.
• Ability to follow written work instructions (SOPs) and standard work documents.

Responsabilités

• Work Safely by following procedures and guidelines.
• Meet quality and production targets.
• Interface with computer to input quality and production data and log maintenance tickets.
• Cross-train in multiple shop areas and operate forklift/crane.
• Adjust and maintain machine settings to meet production needs.
• Submit continuous improvement ideas.
• Perform daily 6-S tasks and sign up for overtime.
• Carry out LOTO procedures and cooperative maintenance.
• Account for tools and equipment at shift start/end.
• Communicate effectively in Performance Dialogs.
