Job summary

Armstrong World Industries, Steel Ceilings plant in Johnstown, Ohio, seeks a dedicated manufacturing associate to assemble and package products per customer orders. You’ll follow safety policies, maintain records, and ensure quality while supporting a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include machine operation support, inventory checks, and keeping the work area clean and compliant with company procedures.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing, assembly, material movement, or machine operator experience preferred.
• Knowledge of metal manufacturing materials, fabrication processes and machinery preferred.
• Ability to learn how to operate a forklift and other company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Company and OSHA Safety Policies.
• Assemble materials and package finished products for transport to customers.
• Ensure that the standards for quality, output, safety etc. are adhered to and improved upon.
• Keep accurate records of production, waste, quality checks undertaken.
• Properly maintain equipment.
• Maintain a high level of customer focus in producing quality products and services that do not sacrifice the safety of others, oneself, nor the environment.
• Conform to all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
