The Opportunity

This position is based in Tipp City, OH, within the Abbott Nutrition division, which develops science-based nutritional products for all ages, including brands like Similac, PediaSure, Pedialyte, Ensure, and Glucerna.

What You'll Work On

• Start up and shut down equipment according to procedures
• Clear jams and resolve downtime issues
• Report equipment or product issues to supervisors
• Operate equipment safely and report incidents
• Maintain a clean, organized work area using 5S principles
• Keep accurate records of production and materials
• Follow product isolation, sampling, and identification protocols
• Monitor supply levels and correct releases
• Troubleshoot and adjust equipment to maintain quality
• Ensure proper product and material identification and inspection
• Comply with all manufacturing regulations, including FDA, GMP, OSHA, and Abbott policies

Shift

This is a day shift (6:30 am - 7:00 pm EST) on a 12-hour rotating schedule.

Schedule example:

• Week 1: Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun: 6:30 am - 7:00 pm; Days off: Wed, Thu
• Week 2: Wed, Thu: 6:30 am - 7:00 pm; Days off: Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Attention to detail
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to read and follow work orders
• Troubleshooting skills for equipment issues
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to work different shifts and departments, including overtime and coverage during absences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical production
