Schedule: 6:20pm - 6:30am, 2-2-3 schedule (They get every other weekend off)

Job Description & Summary

Job Elements

1. Read activity board for scheduled color changes, conversions, and set-ups.
2. Create, label, and number boxes.
3. Read shop orders for product requirements and verify box label matches the product.
4. Answer bells, check for stuck parts, and use Process Monitor on press.
5. Clean machines after completing production activities and maintain efficiency.
6. When necessary, operate emergency stops on closing machines, grinders, auxiliary, and equipment and understand lockout/tag-out procedure.
7. Operate and maintain all types of manufacturing equipment, at times operating several machines at once to relieve for breaks/lunch.
8. Examine and discard defective goods and packaging components, rummaging through the product to look for gross defects.
9. Monitor the machine operations to ensure that the finished product and components adequately match the quality and quantity constraints.
10. Support and adhere to all system procedures and company policies/procedures.
11. Perform other related duties as assigned.
12. Communicate any gross defects to the technical team and report any problems or issues to other team members.

Required Qualifications

1. Three weeks of on-the-job training.
2. Ability to read, count, and write (high school preferred).
3. Ability to distinguish color.
4. Minimum of 6 attendance points and under no disciplinary action.
5. High School diploma/GED.
6. Prompt, reliable attendance is required.

Marginal Job Functions (Not fundamental job duties)

1. Answer alarms (stop machines, clear parts and alarm, restart).
2. Color match parts to master color chip.
