Vet's Plus in Menomonie, WI seeks an Operator 2 to run production equipment, weigh raw materials, and assist in the weigh and mix rooms. Responsibilities include setup per Batch Records, documentation, and maintaining product quality under GDP guidelines.

The role covers operation of multiple machines, sanitation, material handling, and collaboration with maintenance. Requires HS diploma or GED and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and write in English and basic math skills.
• Ability to work in various temperature ranges.
• Proficient in weigh room, dry mix or operating all machines in two separate departments.
• Legible handwriting skills.

Responsabilités

• Operate equipment including injection mold, extruder, labeler to produce products.
• Ensure area equipment is free of unneeded product and sanitized before use.
• Load materials into hoppers and monitor during production.
• Communicate with maintenance if machine issues arise.
• Set up per Batch Record and complete required checklists.
• Handle batch records, logs and forms per GDP requirements.
• Set/monitor/adjust during production and verify metal detectors.
• Ensure guards are in place and packaging is accurate.
• Perform general labor duties as required.
