Job Title: Manufacturing Operator II

Salary Range (Base): $18/hr - $25/hr

Work Hours/Shift/Remote

Must be willing and able to work any assigned shift (first, second, or third). Work schedule may vary (Monday to Friday, Tuesday to Saturday, or other) based on business needs.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Work in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.
  • Operate pharmaceutical production machinery independently and complete required documentation accurately.
  • Execute manufacturing procedures according to batch manufacturing records (BMR) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Perform machine changeovers, cleaning, setup, and ensure area and equipment cleanliness.
  • Prepare rooms and equipment for line clearance, replace filters, verify calibration, and check pressure differentials.
  • Ensure line clearance before manufacturing activities.
  • Receive/transfer materials, check dispensed materials, and label products as per BMR.
  • Wear appropriate PPE as per SOP/BMR before starting processes.
  • Operate equipment independently within the area of operation.
  • Maintain quality standards during manufacturing.
  • Complete manufacturing documentation accurately and timely.
  • Train on SOPs and ensure compliance with cGMP and safety regulations.
  • Use equipment safely and participate in safety programs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and adhere to safety, health, and environmental policies.
  • Work under supervision and independently, exercising professional judgment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Education Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience

Minimum three years in pharmaceutical manufacturing, preferably in generic pharmaceuticals.

Skills and Competencies
  • Legible handwriting and accurate documentation skills.
  • Understanding of granulation, compression, coating, and encapsulation machines.
  • Troubleshooting, investigation, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and work under tight schedules.
  • Strong documentation and scientific principles knowledge.
  • Clear communication skills, both written and oral.
Physical Requirements
  • No restrictions working with powders containing APIs.
  • Ability to lift/bend frequently, stand/walk for long periods, ascend/descend ladders, and lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to move pallets/equipment weighing 200-300 kg with equipment like pallet jacks.
