Job summary

Integra LifeSciences in the United States is seeking a Manufacturing Operator I - Lyophilization to support collagen production on the assembly line. You will cut, inspect, package and box sheets, operate lyophilization equipment and related tools, and may be assigned to different work stations as production needs change.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent. Associate degree in the science field (Preferred)
• Read English and follow written and verbal instructions
• Fundamental understanding of mathematics and chemistry
• Basic mechanical skills is a plus
• Willingness to learn, ability to adapt to change and a positive attitude
• Demonstrate safe behavior and support department/plant Safety goals in a continuous improvement process.
• Possess the ability to participate in a team-oriented environment, willingness to assist and train others, flexible and able to work overtime.
• Make effective use of work time; be self-starter and work independently when necessary.
• Recognize the importance of punctuality and good attendance.
• Willing to travel out of the country.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of processing equipment following SOPs.
• Handle, remove and dispose of hazardous materials.
• Set up and operate equipment like scales, pH meters, mixing tanks, lyophilization machines.
• Verify material approval for usage and prepare formulations.
• Monitor controls and adjust parameters as per procedures.
• Load and unload lyophilization machines and inspect dried sheets.
• Prepare formaldehyde solution for cross-linking and perform cross-linking.
• Document manufacturing activities and maintain logs.
