Integra LifeSciences is seeking a Manufacturing Operator 1 to assemble and test neurosurgical perforators in a controlled cleanroom. You will operate computer-controlled equipment and various manufacturing tools while following SOPs and engineering specs to meet quality standards.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year experience in production in regulated environments. The role requires standing most of the time and ability to lift up to 25 pounds, with English

• Experience in medical device manufacturing or GMP environments preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test components using computer-controlled equipment and manufacturing machines.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections per print specifications, including First Article inspections.
• Record data into manufacturing docs and systems, including quality data and training records.
• Maintain GMP and ISO compliance, safety, and environmental standards; complete required training.
• Identify problems and communicate with supervisor/engineer promptly; participate in process improvements.
• Support maintenance and ensure supplies for production; coordinate with other areas.

The Manufacturing Operator 1 will be responsible for using equipment including computer-controlled equipment to assemble and test components and products as well as operating various pieces of manufacturing equipment

This Manufacturing Operator – Assembly & Packaging (Neurosurgical Perforators) Assembled precision neurosurgical perforators and related medical devices in a controlled cleanroom environment following detailed work instructions and engineering specifications.

Primary responsibilities are:

• Complete tasks including dimensional and visual inspections per print specifications including First Article inspections.
• Perform operations as described by Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) demonstrating consistently effective job performance encompassing good quality, productivity, and dependability.
• Accurately record and enter required information and data into manufacturing documentation and into manufacturing computers including quality inspection data and individual training records.
• Ensure personal and company compliance with all federal, state, local, and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance, as well as ISO and FDA compliance. Complete all applicable training requirements.
• Communicate problems and opportunities to supervisor, technician or engineer in a timely manner.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance tasks as required.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment and equipment.
• Participate in team-based process improvement activities. Provide suggestions for manufacturing improvements.
• Assist in maintaining supplies needed for production area.
• Work closely with other manufacturing support areas to coordinate activities within the manufacturing area.

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum of a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent is required.
• Preferring a minimum of 1 years’ experience in Production, Operations, Manufacturing, and/or related discipline in Cleanroom environment.
• Preferring experience working in a Medical Device manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Preferring experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or another regulated environment is preferred.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• The ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• The ability to communicate effectively (read, write and speak) in English is required.
• Basic math skills, with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, compute percentages and work with decimals, are required.
• The ability to stand and/or walk more than 80% of the time is required.
• The ability to lift to 25 poundsand to stand and sit for extended periods of time with repetitive motion.

Salary Pay Range:

$19.19 - $25.43 USD Hourly

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by several factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for bonus, commission, equity or other variable compensation.
