Job summary

Central States Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking an Operator to support manufacturing operations by running production equipment, handling materials, and ensuring products meet specifications, quality, and safety standards.

You will set up equipment, perform inspections, move materials, and maintain a clean, organized workspace while cross-training across areas. As an Employee-Owner in a fast-paced environment, you’ll contribute to on-time production and customer satisfaction, participate in safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience operating production equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement helpful.
• Experience with hoists, cranes and forklifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production equipment and lines.
• Move, load, and stack raw materials and finished goods.
• Read engineering drawings and work instructions to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
• Train new hires on equipment and procedures.
• Cross-train across multiple production areas as needed.
