This is a 2nd Shift Opportunity. This is Monday - Thursday (4 -10 hour shifts) 3:30pm-1:30am.
This position is designed to give individuals with little or no machining or grinding background the skills they need to become a Certified Operator at Pratt & Whitney.
Employees selected for this position will attend a 3-week training program and participate in 4-8 weeks of on-the-job training.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Skills, systems, and processes critical to aerospace manufacturing within a state-of-the-art facility.
Training and advancement opportunities at all levels through a supportive and collaborative employee experience.
On-the-job training using the most advanced technology in the industry today.
High School or GED.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
1+ years of manufacturing, automotive or related trade experience.
Ability to make computations involving decimals and fractions.
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
