Job summary

Smurfit WestRock in Liberty, MO is seeking a safety‑minded production worker to join our manufacturing team. Starting pay is $23.00 per hour for a 2nd and 3rd shift, with the ability to work any shift and overtime as needed.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED, can lift up to 50 lbs, and read a tape measure. Weekly pay plus shift differentials, life and disability insurance, 401(k), holidays, tuition reimbursement, and more are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be safety conscious and follow directions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate various manufacturing equipment and follow directions.
• Work safely, lift up to 50 lbs, and move about the shift.
• Read a tape measure (to 1/16”) and perform basic math.
• Perform inspections and report issues, keep area clean.
• Support quality inspection and product labeling tasks.
