Job summary

MilliporeSigma in the United States is seeking an entry level Manufacturing Associate to support product manufacturing, packaging, and testing in a GMP-aligned environment. You will follow SOPs, operate lab equipment, and assist R&D with new products.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1+ year experience with automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience in industrial settings preferred.
  • Proficient with computers.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Capable of writing legibly.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Experience operating labeling, packaging, and lab equipment (e.g., balances, labelers, vacuum pumps, ovens, evaporators, glove boxes).

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, pack and process products in assigned area.
  • Follow written instructions per MPS/SOP/ISO guidelines.
  • Engage in product manufacturing across various areas.
  • Monitor processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Design and conduct simple experiments to enhance yield, product quality, and develop new product.
  • Assist R&D in manufacturing of new products.
  • Package and label all products according to instructions.
  • Test products in assigned work area.
  • Prepare samples for quality control upon request.
  • Completes in-process inspections.
  • Maintains QC experimental records.
  • Operate and maintain all necessary lab equipment.
  • Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment.
  • Maintain raw material inventory and request supplies as needed.
  • Perform maintenance and cleaning of the work area and lab equipment.

Your role:

Physical Requirements:
  • Vision and hearing within normal limits
  • Ability to move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
  • May require repetitive hand and arm movements, as well as standing or sitting for extended periods
  • Handle chemicals safely while using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Manually dexterous for various tasks
  • Ability to stand, sit, stoop, lift, and climb ladders.
Who you are:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • 1+ years with automated manufacturing equipment and in an industrial setting
  • High attention to detail

RSREMD

Pay Range for this position: $20.00 - $32.00.

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
