Location: Fall River, MA
Pay Rate: $18–$19 per hour
We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Operator I for the 1st shift at our Fall River, MA facility. This position is ideal for someone with a background in pharmaceutical manufacturing who values teamwork, precision, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense raw materials and primary packaging components as per work orders.
Execute batch processing with proper planning and documentation.
Perform cleaning and sanitation of production areas and machinery.
Monitor and document daily production performance.
Operate manufacturing equipment with a focus on quality, efficiency, and minimal waste.
Conduct equipment maintenance and coordinate preventive maintenance with engineering.
Maintain inventory of parts, tools, and accessories.
Collaborate cross-functionally with packaging, maintenance, and quality teams.
Ensure proper status labeling during manufacturing, filling, and cleaning.
Perform calibration/verification of instruments and balances.
Carry out line clearance and ensure PPE compliance.
Operate computer systems to document and track manufacturing processes.
Maintain 100% compliance with cGMP, GDP, SOPs, and company policies.
Report any deviations or issues to the department manager.
Assist in training new team members when necessary.
Be flexible to work extended hours based on manufacturing needs.
Participate in all required training programs, including periodic re-training.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience; MDI experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred.
Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
Understanding of cGMP and FDA regulatory standards preferred.
Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with control systems.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
Physically capable of lifting and bending frequently.
Ability to wear appropriate PPE, including respiratory protection as needed.
Knowledge of OSHA and Health & Safety procedures.
