Job description

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join their team. As a Manufacturing Operator, you will be part of the production team supporting high-quality food safety standards. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manufacturing Operator

Location: Owatonna, MN

Pay Rate: $19 per hour

What's the Job?

  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while maintaining a hazard-free work area.
  • Verify and feed raw materials into the production process to ensure quality standards.
  • Monitor machinery for malfunctions and report any unusual problems or safety issues.
  • Maintain accurate production records and check yields to investigate discrepancies.
  • Clean workstation and equipment at shift-end, following all sanitation rules and procedures.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Must be able to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data.
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend with full range of body motion.
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required.
