Job summary

Chem-Trend, a company of the Freudenberg Group, seeks a highly motivated Manufacturing Operator in Howell, MI to package and sample chemical specialty products while following safety, housekeeping, formulation and quality procedures and maximizing output.

The role is on-site with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards. Previous manufacturing experience is a plus; high school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to perform bending, squatting, twisting and overhead reaching.
• Ability to lift up to 55-pound bags, pails or boxes to 3–4 feet.
• Personal protective equipment is required to handle chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging and sampling of chemical specialty products following safety and quality procedures.
• Maintain output while maximizing efficiency and upholding housekeeping standards.
• Follow strict safety, formulation and quality procedures in a manufacturing environment.
