Job Summary
We are seeking a Manufacturing Operator I to support chemical manufacturing operations, including material handling, production, equipment operation, packaging, documentation, and quality control. This is an entry-level opportunity offering hands‑on training and long‑term growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and move raw materials within the facility.
- Operate manufacturing equipment including reactors, pumps, centrifuges, dryers, and related production equipment.
- Follow SOPs, batch records, and safety procedures while manufacturing chemical products.
- Perform material weighing, mixing, sampling, packaging, labeling, and QC submissions.
- Complete production documentation accurately following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Conduct basic analytical testing (such as pH measurements).
- Maintain housekeeping, equipment cleanliness, and inventory of production supplies.
- Report process deviations and assist with corrective actions.
- Perform basic SAP transactions as required.
- Follow OSHA regulations and actively participate in maintaining a safe work environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Willingness to learn and follow detailed procedures.
- Ability to work safely with chemicals, flammable materials, and required PPE.
- Must be able to wear a respirator (clean‑shaven required for fit testing).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical, or production experience.
- Experience operating industrial equipment or working in a process manufacturing environment.
- Forklift experience is a plus (training provided).
