Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or demonstrated performance competency.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment including printing and curing lines.
• Ability to interpret scheduling sheets and paperwork for conforming and non-conforming parts.
• Ability to inspect parts for quality criteria and determine actions for non-conforming parts.
• Ability to sand, scrap, and reorder non-conforming parts shortages.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy parts, pallets and returnable bins.
• Ability to maintain a fast pace when line hanging and unloading.
• Ability to differentiate between colors and check shades using color sample plates.
• Ability to use paint measuring device and record results on process sheets and to use scanner and printer.

Responsibilities

• Make on-the-spot quality judgments on conforming and non-conforming line products.
• Support all aspects of the metal coating process.
• Foster safety, quality, productivity, and on-time order completion.
• Complete housekeeping of work areas including floors, hooks, pallets, and recycling materials.
