The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

  • Consults with leadership team to set medium- to long-term strategic direction and operating plans for a large sized manufacturing operation.
  • Develops business strategies and creates solutions for complex and multi-faceted problems.
  • Ensures products are manufactured on schedule, and within quality standards and cost objectives.
  • Implements manufacturing standards and defines guidelines for assigned area(s). Plans, organizes, and directs all manufacturing activities and policies.

  • Leading manufacturing teams to meet and exceed aggressive performance deliverables
  • Implement employee led improvements to systems and processes that help insure their jobs are safer and more efficient

  • Willingness to support operations with a flexible personal schedule in support of a 24/7 operation, as needed

Company Vehicle

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Ten (10) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Five (5) years of manufacturing operations leadership in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Current, valid Driver’s License.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Master's degree in Science or business related field, from an accredited institution
  • Seven (7) years of manufacturing leadership in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Skills include:
    • Facilitative Leadership
    • Strategic plan development
    • Project/Plan Implementation Management
    • Change management implementation

Work location:

  • On-site, Nevada, Missouri

Travel: May include up to 10%

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
