Job summary

Midwest Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor who will learn and oversee production, management, and supervision operations at the Eau Claire facility. You will ensure efficient build, timely order fulfillment, and quota setting with quality goals.

You will lead teams, collaborate with supervisors, propose process improvements, maintain safe, clean facilities, and help maximize throughput while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Degree in manufacturing, engineering, or management field preferred or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of modern sales and management methods and techniques.
• Able to write and speak clearly and accurately.
• Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Able to tactfully deal with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that product is built in the most efficient way.
• Ensure that all orders are filled within an acceptable lead time.
• Set and evaluate production quotas, both quantity and quality.
• Manage and lead team members in your area.
• Work with supervisors and managers to accomplish goals.
• Come up with innovative ideas to improve current processes.
• Keep production facilities in good repair, orderly, and clean.
• Use equipment to capacity to fill orders.
• Ensure all safety policies are enforced, all training is up to date, and all equipment is guarded and well maintained.
• Keep safety training and maintenance documented.
• Keep open communication with all team members regarding safety issues.
• Balance inventory and reduce stock to ensure maximum turn and in-stock position.
