Tom Trese Networking LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager in Charleston, SC. This role provides leadership for heavy industrial manufacturing, coaching front-line leaders, and driving safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.

The position oversees daily manufacturing execution, promotes reliable operations through Control Plans, Standard Work, and Job Safety Analyses, and leads cross-functional initiatives aligned with the 1–3 year business plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering.
• 2–5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 3 years of technical problem-solving experience within manufacturing.
• Proven ability to develop, coach, and lead front-line leaders.
• Strong organizational skills to manage priorities and time effectively.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.
• Background in strategic planning and implementing new manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily manufacturing operations aligned with goals and business objectives.
• Develop and coach front-line leaders to strengthen leadership and performance.
• Maintain strong safety culture and zero-injury focus.
• Ensure consistent use of Control Plans, Standard Work, and Job Safety Analyses.
• Establish and sustain controlled, stable, repeatable processes.
• Identify and implement improvements in safety, quality, productivity and cost.
• Translate business objectives into manufacturing plans for 1–3 years.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce new processes.
• Investigate and resolve technical/operational challenges with structured methods.
• Foster accountability and a culture of continuous improvement.
