Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive manufacturing operations experience.
• 5+ years in senior operational leadership.
• Experience in precision machining, complex job-shop manufacturing, or another high-mix production environment.
• Strong track record of leading measurable lean and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Experience managing budgets, plant performance, or business-unit P&L.
• Relational, trusted leader who can develop people, navigate a family-owned business, and introduce change thoughtfully.
• CNC machining experience, particularly Swiss-type or multi-spindle, is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cox’s manufacturing operations, overseeing Production, Quality, Maintenance, Facilities, Warehouse, and Shipping and Receiving.
• Strengthen operational performance across the full value stream from raw materials to final shipment.
• Build systems, accountability, and leadership infrastructure to support sustainable growth.
• Develop capable operational leaders and align cross-functional teams across Operations, Engineering, Sales, Finance, and People and Culture.
