Job description

High-Growth Leadership Track | Dietary Supplement Manufacturing

This is not a typical manufacturing job, and we are not looking for a typical candidate.

We are searching for an experienced manufacturing professional who wants the opportunity to learn an entire operation from the ground up, prove what they can do, and grow quickly into a significant leadership position within our company.

You may already have experience as a Production Lead, Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Supervisor, Manufacturing Manager, Operations Lead, or similar role, but you do not need a title on day one to demonstrate leadership.

We want someone confident enough in their abilities to come in with a low ego, roll up their sleeves, work alongside our team, and learn how All-In operates from beginning to end.

For the right person who can do that, the growth opportunity is significant.

WHO WE ARE

All-In Nutritionals is a growing dietary supplement manufacturer headquartered in Springfield, Ohio.

We develop and manufacture nutritional supplements for our own brands and a growing portfolio of contract manufacturing partners. Our work spans the product lifecycle, from formulation, R&D and ingredient sourcing through purchasing, receiving, quality, manufacturing, packaging, testing, release, distribution and fulfillment.

Our manufacturing capabilities continue to expand and include powders, liquids, capsules, bulk products, stick packs, gummies and more.

We operate in a regulated cGMP environment where quality, documentation, traceability and doing things correctly matter. We are also a small, entrepreneurial, fast-moving company where departments work closely together, leadership is actively involved, problems get solved, and exceptional employees can directly influence how the company evolves. We are small enough that an exceptional person can make a noticeable difference, and growing quickly enough that they can build a career here.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for someone who wants to learn the whole operation, not just one machine or department. You may eventually help lead manufacturing or broader operations, but first, we want you to understand what you are leading.

That means learning our business from the inside out:

Sourcing. Procurement. Purchasing. Quality. Raw materials. Inventory. Receiving. ERP. Planning. Batching. Manufacturing. Equipment. Packaging. Documentation. People. Problems. Solutions.

You will learn how materials enter our facility, how they are documented and controlled, how inventory moves, how production is planned, how formulas become finished products, how our equipment operates, and how Quality and Manufacturing work together.

You will work within our Markov ERP system, including entering and retrieving information, understanding inventory and material movement, and using operational data to make better decisions.

On the manufacturing side, you will gain exposure across powders, liquids, bulk manufacturing, stick packs, capsules, gummies, packaging and more. And then, we want you to help us make it all better.

HELP US BUILD

Once you understand our operation, we do not want you to simply maintain it. We want the right person to improve it.

You may help us:

  • Improve manufacturing efficiency, productivity & throughput
  • Develop stronger production workflows & processes
  • Build our process-engineering capabilities
  • Improve equipment setup, operation & changeovers
  • Identify & eliminate bottlenecks
  • Strengthen production planning & scheduling
  • Improve material flow & inventory visibility
  • Use data & technology to identify opportunities
  • Develop & improve SOPs, work instructions & protocols
  • Troubleshoot equipment & production challenges
  • Research equipment, technology & solutions
  • Train & develop production employees
  • Work across Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, R&D, Receiving, Packaging & Distribution
  • Eventually supervise, lead & develop a growing manufacturing team

We want someone who looks at a process and naturally thinks: "How can we make this better?"

THE PERSON WE ARE TRYING TO FIND

We are looking for someone confident but low ego. Strong-minded without being difficult. Extremely dependable. Quick-moving without becoming careless. Someone who leads naturally, takes ownership and follows through.

Someone who does not stop at:

"We can't do that."

Their next thought is:

"Okay. What CAN we do, & how do we figure it out?"

If you do not know the answer, you find the manual, call the manufacturer, research the technology, pull the data, talk to the right person, test the solution, & keep working the problem.

Roadblocks should make you curious, not helpless.

You should also be highly tech-savvy. Modern manufacturing depends on both people and technology. You should be comfortable learning ERP systems, equipment interfaces, spreadsheets, reporting tools, data & new technologies, and interested in how automation can make manufacturing smarter & more efficient.

YOU SHOULD KNOW MANUFACTURING EQUIPMENT

We want someone who understands machinery beyond simply pushing the start button.

You do not need experience with every piece of equipment we own, but you should have strong mechanical and manufacturing aptitude. You should be comfortable learning how equipment works, troubleshooting problems, working with vendors and technicians, improving setup and changeovers, and helping us develop stronger process-engineering discipline. Experience with blending, batching, filling, packaging, conveyors, encapsulation, pouching, stick packaging, liquid filling, automated production equipment, or similar machinery is valuable.

WHAT WE WOULD LOVE TO FIND

Our needle-in-the-haystack candidate has a proven manufacturing track record with experience in areas such as:

  • Production leadership or manufacturing management
  • Hands-on manufacturing and equipment operation
  • Process improvement or process engineering
  • Production planning and scheduling
  • Employee training and leadership
  • Inventory and material management
  • ERP/MRP systems
  • Purchasing, procurement, receiving or warehousing
  • Quality systems and documentation
  • Root-cause problem solving
  • SOP and process development
  • Scaling or improving manufacturing operations

Dietary supplement or nutraceutical manufacturing experience would be exceptional.

Experience in food, bev, pharma, cosmetic, or another regulated/GMP manufacturing environment is also highly relevant. But we care about the person as much as the exact industry.

WHAT THIS JOB IS NOT

This is not an office-only management position. It is not a position where you spend your first week telling an established team how everything should be done. It is not for someone who believes certain work is beneath their title. And it is probably not right for someone who needs a narrowly defined job description where every responsibility stays neatly inside one box. Our environment moves quickly. Priorities change. Machines occasionally refuse to cooperate. Customers have deadlines. Raw materials have lead times. Production schedules have dependencies. New products introduce new challenges.

We need someone who thrives in that environment.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US

You will work alongside a strong, involved leadership team that cares deeply about what we are building.

You will be given the opportunity to learn, contribute, solve problems and take ownership. Good ideas will be heard regardless of whose title is attached to them. When you demonstrate that you can lead people, solve problems, improve processes and make the operation stronger, we want to give you more responsibility, not hold you back.

The right person could progress quickly.

Our goal is for this individual to become a trusted operational leader who takes increasing ownership of production and manufacturing.

For someone who proves capable, that could mean progression into a Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Supervisor, Manufacturing Manager, Operations Manager, or another significant operational leadership position.

We are not promising a title on a predetermined timeline.

We are looking for someone capable of earning one.

LOCATION & WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is a FT, on-site manufacturing position in Springfield, Ohio. Expect substantial time on the manufacturing floor, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, working around manufacturing equipment, and lifting and handling materials within the requirements of the position. Local candidates only at this time. We are not pursuing relocation candidates or offering relocation assistance for this position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong candidates will generally have:

  • Several years of progressive manufacturing experience
  • Previous lead, supervisory, management, or significant operational responsibility
  • Experience working directly with manufacturing equipment
  • A demonstrated history of solving problems and improving processes
  • Strong technology and computer skills
  • ERP/MRP experience or the ability to learn complex systems quickly
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
  • The ability to perform in a high-demand, fast-moving environment
  • Exceptional reliability, ownership, and follow-through
  • The ability to lead while remaining willing to learn
  • A hands-on, whatever-it-takes attitude
  • High school diploma or GED required
SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY

We recognize this posting is unusually specific. That is intentional. We are not trying to attract hundreds of applicants. We are trying to find one exceptional person. If you are looking only for your next title, this probably is not it. But if you have already proven yourself in manufacturing, still enjoy being close to the operation, love solving difficult problems, learn quickly, embrace technology, understand equipment, lead naturally, and want an opportunity where your contribution can directly influence the future of a growing company, we want to talk to you. Come in. Learn everything. Ask questions. Get your hands dirty and build the solutions. Earn the team’s trust. Help us build something exceptional. For the right person, the sky really is the limit at All-In Nutritionals.
