Job summary

finalREV is seeking a manufacturing and operations intern to help build physical systems that keep a fast-moving machine shop efficient and scalable. This role blends mechanical design, manufacturing, and software to design and implement actionable improvements in tooling storage, shop layout, and workflow.

You will work hands-on in the shop, own small projects, and communicate results with initiative and curiosity.

This is not a spreadsheet operations job — it's a multidisciplinary role that will involve using mechanical design, manufacturing and software to design and build physical systems that "click". If you're the kind of person who sees a messy process and immediately starts redesigning and optimizing it in your head, you'll probably love this job.

What we're looking for:

• Strong organizational instincts and attention to detail
• Interest in manufacturing, operations, or industrial systems
• Comfortable being highly hands-on in a shop environment
• High agency and initiative
• Basic software fluency; able to use tools like Cursor to build lightweight software solutions when useful
