Job summary

Watlow is seeks a Team Lead, Manufacturing Operations Engineering to guide and improve complex manufacturing processes and value streams, while providing direct leadership to Manufacturing Process Technicians. You will partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance and Product Engineering to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

This role blends daily production support with long‑term continuous improvement, automation, capacity expansion projects, and people

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and supervising teams.
• Lean/Six Sigma or project management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and improve manufacturing processes and value streams; provide team leadership.
• Drive day-to-day production support with continuous improvement and automation projects.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance and Product Engineering.
• Develop and implement Lean manufacturing and 5S/6S initiatives.
• Coach operators and technicians through standard work and training.
