Director of Manufacturing Operations Description

Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Director of Manufacturing Operations to join their team in East Dallas, near Mesquite, TX. This newly created role will lead approximately 40 employees across production, supply chain, inventory, quality, and continuous improvement, through three direct report managers. You will build the operating systems needed to support continued growth, with an emphasis on improving production flow, standardizing work, strengthening material availability, and reducing order-to-ship lead times. The operation is low-volume, high-mix, and highly customized, making experience applying lean principles in complex manufacturing environments critical. Our client is looking for a manufacturing leader who has led multiple functions and personally delivered measurable improvements from batch production toward flow.
