Job summary

Leeco Steel is seeking a Director of Manufacturing Operations to provide strategic leadership over warehouse, distribution, and steel plate processing. The role drives safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability through inventory management, planning, maintenance, and logistics.

The position reports to the VP of Operations and requires travel. You will develop high-performing teams, optimize processes, and ensure ISO and customer standards are met across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Must have strong leadership experience in steel distribution or manufacturing.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma and operational excellence principles.
• Proven ability to lead multi-site operations and large teams.
• Experience managing capital projects and operations budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse, distribution, and steel processing operations.
• Drive continuous improvement and process standardization.
• Oversee production planning, inventory management, and maintenance programs.
• Monitor performance and implement strategies to improve productivity, quality, cost, and service.
• Support growth of processing capabilities and cross-functional collaboration.
• Lead safety initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
