Job summary

Leeco Steel is seeking a Director of Manufacturing Operations to provide strategic leadership for warehouse, distribution, and steel plate processing. The role drives safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and profitable growth across inventory management, production planning, maintenance and logistics.

This senior position partners across functions to optimize processes, develop high-performing teams, and advance Leeco Steel's processing capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
• Experience leading steel plate processing, warehouse, distribution, and production operations.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, and Operational Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse, distribution, and steel processing operations for safe, efficient, and profitable execution.
• Drive operational excellence through Lean principles and process standardization.
• Oversee production planning, inventory management, maintenance, and facilities operations.
• Monitor performance and implement strategies to improve productivity, quality, cost, and service levels.
• Support growth and optimization of value-added processing capabilities.
• Foster accountability, teamwork, engagement, and continuous improvement.
