Job summary

Nova Biomedical is seeking a Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer II to provide floor support for reagent, sensor, and tubing manufacturing in Waltham, MA. You will investigate issues, support process improvements, and transfer new products into manufacturing.

The role includes mentoring interns and collaborating across teams to ensure on-time, high-quality output. Qualifications include a BS in Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering required.
• 3+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Minitab, SAP, and MasterControl.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical floor support to manufacturing operations.
• Test consumables and components for functionality.
• Create and update building documentation and procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Mentor interns and co-ops as needed.
