Coca-Cola Consolidated is seeking a Mechanic Manufacturing II in Roanoke. This role is responsible for repairing and maintaining production facility assets, ensuring equipment operates efficiently, and performing preventive maintenance tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and 3 to 5 years of experience or relevant technical training. Knowledge of troubleshooting and maintaining high-speed production equipment is preferred. The work environment is noisy and wet, with exposure to extreme temperatures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge acquired through 3 to up to 5 years of work experience or 2 years of college or technical training.
• Familiarity with plant maintenance and high-speed production equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures operation of machinery by completing preventive maintenance.
• Locates sources of problems and observes mechanical devices.
• Monitors and maintains multiple pieces of equipment.
• Controls downtime by informing production workers of preventive maintenance techniques.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
