Job summary

James A. Staley Co. is seeking a Manufacturing Mechanic to build hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems and troubleshoot using schematics.

The role involves installing and starting up equipment onsite and at offsite facilities, with domestic and some international travel required. Candidates should have 6–8 years of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting experience and own tools. Technical training or AS/BS preferred; strong teamwork, communication, and customer service

Qualifications

• AS/BS in a relevant field, or equivalent.
• Proficient use of hand tools.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.

• Customer service and field service experience.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision or in a team.
• Own tools and valid driver's license.
• US citizen with up-to-date US passport; willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Aptitude in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and metal fabrication is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot from hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic schematics.
• Electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting.
• Make hydraulic hoses using Parker hose machine.
• Bend stainless tubing with hand or hydraulic bender.
• Layout and mount system components.
• Use proper fittings for hydraulic components.
• Layout measurements to drill holes in sheets for valves and gauges with precision.
• Install, start up and troubleshoot equipment onsite and at offsite facilities.
• Domestic and some international travel to set up equipment.

Manufacturing Mechanic:

We are a Manufacturer of Hydraulic, Electrical, Pneumatic and Aircraft Engine test equipment, we are seeking an individual with the following qualifications, to become part of our team.

Job Description Highlights:

• Building Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Electrical systems
• Troubleshoot to read and interpret Hydraulic, Electrical and Pneumatic schematics a MUST
• Electrical and Hydraulic troubleshooting
• Make hydraulic hoses using a Parker Hydraulic hose machine
• Bend stainless tubing with hand or hydraulic bender
• Layout and mount system components
• Use of appropriate fittings for hydraulic components
• Layout measurements to drill holes in sheet metal cabinets or panels for valves, gauges etc, with close precision measures.
• Once equipment is complete install, start up and troubleshoot equipment onsite and at offsite facility
• Domestic and some International travel necessary to set up equipment

Requirements:

• Strong aptitude in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and metal fabrication is a plus
• 6-8 years professional experience with Mechanical, pneumatic, & electrical troubleshooting and repair
• Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Must have own tools and high level of proficiency with them
• Lay out and mount system components
• Valid driver's licenses
• US Citizen with up to date US Passport -
• Some Domestic and International travel necessary to complete job set up
