Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or equivalent experience required.
• 10+ years in manufacturing with 5+ years in leadership.
• Experience in plastics and injection molding preferred.
• Strong knowledge of P&L/Income Statements and plant quality systems.
• Lean, Six Sigma, TS/ISO process improvement knowledge.
• Able to work overtime and lead a team effectively.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages day-to-day floor manufacturing activities across shifts.
• Coordinate with production scheduling to optimize customer satisfaction.
• Lead safety, quality, and cost-improvement projects.
• Assist Plant Manager with staffing, training, and employee development.
• Administer training, disciplinary actions, and progression.
• Evaluate needs for equipment, tools, and materials.
• Ensure housekeeping and safety compliance across the facility.
• Optimize processes and costs to enhance profitability within policies.
• Evaluate scrap reduction strategies and regrind usage.
• Provide startup/shutdown/changeover guidance to technicians and mold setters.
• Collaborate with Quality Manager to meet safety, quality and delivery targets.
