Job Details

We are looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Engineering Manager with strong CNC machine shop experience to join and help lead our manufacturing facility. This role is critical as we continue to rebuild and strengthen our operations for future growth.

You'll act as a right hand to our Operations Manager, directly leading and supporting a small but highly skilled team. We're looking for someone who is eager to take the next big step in their career - a leader who can engage on the floor, understand the machining process, and drive accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day CNC machining and assembly operations, focusing on tight-tolerance aerospace components.

Actively engage with the production floor - not a desk-only management role.

Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Oversee project management initiatives for ongoing and new production efforts.

Improve engagement, communication, and accountability within the team.

Assist in building and rebuilding a strong manufacturing culture focused on growth and operational excellence.

Ensure compliance with aerospace industry quality standards and requirements.

Requirements:

Strong CNC machining background, including 5-axis milling and machining operations.

Hands-on knowledge of machining processes - able to step in and support where needed.

Strong leadership, people management, and communication skills.

Project management experience.

Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience.

High engagement style - very present and active on the shop floor.

Education: Formal degree not required; success in similar manufacturing leadership roles is what matters most.
