Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Texas. The role involves performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and performing repairs to keep systems running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has welding and fabrication experience, familiarity with PLC/automation, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. Travel of several weeks at a time may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship is a plus.
• Proven experience in fabrication and machining; lathe, mill, and welding machinery experience.
• Ability to use precision tools (e.g., calipers) to take accurate measurements.
• Knowledge of metal properties and reading blueprints/schematics.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and quality checks to standards.
• Maintain inventory records for equipment and supplies.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical or electrical problems.
• Calibrate and adjust equipment per specifications.
• Document routine checks and repairs accurately.
• May assist training production staff on maintenance procedures.
• Travel may be required for extended periods.
