Job summary

Kinperium-Hiniker LLC (Hiniker) is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Mankato, MN to perform facility and machinery maintenance in a manufacturing environment. The role covers inspections, installation, refurbishment, and machine operation to keep equipment running smoothly.

Candidates should have a 2-year mechanical/electrical degree or equivalent experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with CMMS, reading schematics, and electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

2-year degree in a mechanical/electrical field and 1 year experience as a maintenance technician or 5 years as a maintenance technician.
Experience in lockout tagout procedures.
Measuring equipment (calipers, micrometer, tape measure)
High/low voltage systems knowledge

Responsibilities

Preventative Maintenance: inspect buildings, grounds, and machinery and perform routine troubleshooting of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic and controls issues.
Perform daily TPM duties.
Work with CMMS to track work orders and maintenance tasks.
Interpret and apply technical codes.
Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot mechanical power transmission components like gearboxes, drives, and conveyors.
Read and interpret electrical/mechanical schematics and drawings.
