Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a 2-year degree in a mechanical/electrical field or equivalent experience, familiarity with CMMS, and strong troubleshooting

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in mechanical/electrical field; 1 year experience as a maintenance technician or 5 years as a maintenance technician.
• Experience in lockout tagout procedures.
• Plumbing
• High/low voltage systems
• Measuring equipment (caliper, micrometer, tape measure)

Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance: inspect buildings, grounds and machinery; troubleshoot equipment.
• Perform daily TPM duties.
• Work with CMMS for maintenance records.
• Interpret and apply technical codes.
• Install, repair and troubleshoot gearboxes, transmissions, conveyors and rollers.
• Read calipers, micrometers and tape measures; work with pumps and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
