Job summary

Spang Engineered Solutions, a division of Spang & Company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our McKinney, TX facility. You will perform general maintenance, repair electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, and HVAC systems, and coordinate with vendors to keep the plant running safely.

The role requires 5 years of maintenance experience in a production environment, ability to read schematics and blueprints, proficiency with hand and power tools, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of maintenance experience in a production environment.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, repair electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Move furniture, receive deliveries, build and reconfigure workstations.
• Coordinate third-party services, cleaning, lawn care, and landlord liaison.
• Assist with permits, safety inspections, scrap recycling, and hazardous waste management.
