Job summary

MAPEI Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic/Technician in the United States, Kentucky area. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain critical production equipment including mixers, pumps, valves, and robotics to ensure reliable, safe operations on the plant floor.

The role emphasizes preventive and predictive maintenance, adherence to OSHA and PSM guidelines, and detailed documentation while contributing to KPI targets and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with NEC and NFPA 70E standards.
• Skilled in installing new equipment and modifying existing installations.
• Proficient in Statistical Process Control (SPC): control charts, standard deviation, Cp/Cpk.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with supervisors and management to perform repairs and preventive maintenance, minimizing downtime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control systems, including machinery, instruments, power systems, and piping.
• Complete thorough repairs and initiate work orders based on PM or PdM findings.
• Maximize equipment reliability by efficiently executing work orders and PM tasks.
• Accurately document activities, resources, and completion codes.
• Analyze reports to recommend improvements for asset operability, reliability, and safety.
