Job summary

Weiler Forest Products Inc in LaGrange, GA is seeking a maintenance technician to maintain site equipment, utilities, and infrastructure. You will perform installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of machinery, electrical systems, piping, and HVAC.

The role requires experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical systems, PLC and HVAC maintenance, and ability to read diagrams. A high school diploma or GED is required, and forklift certification preferred.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
13–5 years related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills with PLC and HVAC maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

Plans and coordinates work within a wide range of maintenance activities.
Performs preventative maintenance of on-site equipment and machinery.
Troubleshoots AC & DC circuits with a multi-meter (single and 3-phase).
Repairs and maintains the physical structure and infrastructure of the site.
Responds to service requests for equipment and systems; identifies countermeasures.
Installs, relocates, and repairs machines and equipment; includes wiring and safety checks.
Installs and repairs cranes and hoist systems; lays out and maintains pipe systems.
