Job summary

Gates is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor at its Poplar Bluff plant. The role involves coordinating daily department schedules, collaborating with the engineering team on project installations, and directing the maintenance department to achieve excellence in maintenance outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, an associate/technical degree preferred, and 2–4 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, with strong management and decision-making skills,

Qualifications

• Must have management and decision-making experience.
• Ability to manage people, production, inventory, scheduling, and maintenance functions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate the maintenance team's work schedules.
• Supervise a variety of support staff personnel.
• Ensure proper training levels through effective selection, interviewing, and training of staff.
• Maintain accurate reporting.
• Interpret and evaluate information, applying judgment to set team priorities, policies, and approaches.
• Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment.
