Job summary

DNP Imagingcomm America Corporation seeks a Manufacturing Maintenance & Reliability Engineer to manage asset health, reduce downtime, and optimize performance across asset lifecycles. This role is analytical, proactive, and collaborates across departments to improve reliability.

Responsibilities include developing PM/PdM programs, leading RCA/FMEA efforts, analyzing OEE and MTBF metrics, and supporting new installations with reliability considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering mechanical, electrical or similar engineering field preferred
• 10+ years of Manufacturing Experience as a Reliability Engineer, Plant Engineer, or Maintenance Engineer
• Ability to develop designs and create engineering drawings using CAD software
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with high-speed and/or custom automation processes for assembly and machine tending
• Understanding of equipment reliability, preventive/predictive maintenance, lubrication best practices
• Experience with PLC Programming on platforms such as Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron, Siemens, etc.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and NEC regulations/standards
• User/implementer of CMMS
• Ability to work flexible hours for 24/7 manufacturing operations
• Experience in Web Converting or similar high-speed rotating equipment environment

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) and PdM programs to ensure equipment availability and longevity
• Lead and participate in RCA and FMEA to diagnose failures and implement corrective actions
• Monitor reliability data (OEE, MTBF, production losses) to identify trends and drive improvements
• Provide engineering expertise for repair, alteration and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems
• Identify and manage asset reliability risks affecting operations, safety and compliance
• Work with project teams to ensure reliability in design, procurement and commissioning
• Provide troubleshooting support and train staff on reliability best practices
• Perform equipment risk analysis and ongoing assessments

Job purpose

The Maintenance and Reliability Engineer focus is managing asset health, minimizing

downtime, and optimizing performance across an asset's lifecycle. The role is proactive

and analytical, often involving collaboration across different departments.

Duties and responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) and condition-based/predictive maintenance (PdM) programs to ensure equipment availability and longevity.
• Lead and participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and failure modes and effects analysis to diagnose equipment failures and implement long-term corrective actions.
• Monitor and analyze reliability data, such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Mean Time Between Failures, and production losses, to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide engineering expertise for the repair, alteration and troubleshooting of critical mechanical and electrical systems.
• Identify and manage asset reliability risks that could adversely affect plant or business operations, including those related to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Work with project engineering teams to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new installations are considered during design, procurement, and commissioning stages.
• Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support to maintenance and operations teams, and train staff on reliability best practices and new protocols.

Supervisory Responsibilities

While there are no direct reports for this position, the Maintenance & Reliability Engineer may be responsible to oversee and direct the work of technicians and operations personnel during the implementation of projects and work activities.
