Job summary

Kroger is seeking an Administrator to support the plant's Maintenance and Engineering departments in Newark, OH. You will handle maintenance-related purchases, verify receipts, and help drive Safety, Quality, Reliability (SQR) and our Customer 1st strategy through accurate, efficient work and strong leadership aligned with Kroger's values.

You will routinely use tracking software to manage parts and inventories, requisition services, and communicate with engineers and supervisors while following

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of parts, materials, tools and equipment used in a Maintenance department.
• Self-motivated and self-directed.
• Functional knowledge and use of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to meet deadlines with limited supervision.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy.
• Experience working in a manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

• Routinely use computer tracking software to facilitate timely repairs by controlling and identifying parts, tools, materials and equipment inventories.
• Ensure inventory organization and accuracy of inventory in stored areas.
• Requisition parts and services and request vendor pricing information.
• Effectively communicate inventory details to the plant maintenance engineer and plant supervisor.
• Properly stage and identify parts and materials for scheduled worked.
• Complete routine paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
• Utilize maintenance system to complete daily, weekly, and monthly duties.
• Maintain flexibility to work any shift.
• Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe, quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements.
• Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the SQF 2000 Systems.
• Accountable to the Kroger Manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Principles.
• Must be able to work around ingredients and/or finished products known to contain food allergens.
• Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
