Job summary

Teledyne Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician in Dallas, TX. You will perform machine repair, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical, mechanical and automated equipment, including PLCs and drives.

Qualifications

Associate degree in a related field from a two-year college or technical school.
Minimum 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Manufacturing automation equipment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Machine repair, rebuilding and retrofitting; Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Structural, Electrical, and Electronics (working knowledge of PLCs, Drives, etc.).
Performs preventive maintenance for manufacturing equipment to electrical, mechanical and safety standards.
Troubleshoot and diagnose causes of electrical and mechanical malfunctions; apply corrective actions to resolve issues.
Utilize diagnostic equipment and measuring devices such as voltmeters, calipers, micrometers, and oscilloscopes for troubleshooting and monitoring performance.
Perform basic plumbing, electrical and structure repair around the facility.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Assist with installation of new equipment.
Safely use hand and power tools as required.
Perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures per policy.
Proficient with PC-based Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Possess prior forklift certification and valid driver's license for company vehicle use.
Able to work overtime as required.
