Position Summary:

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

• Performs scheduled maintenance on manufacturing machines and systems.
• Repairs the malfunction of machines, systems and auxiliary equipment.
• Routinely checks on machinery and systems for signs of fault to prevent or minimize downtime and interruptions.
• Initiates improvements on the functionality of machines and equipment to increase efficiency.
• May act as a team leader to ensure that the work meets agreed targets by overseeing team members.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the field's policies, procedures and practices.
• Documents activities accordingly.

• Required to apply basic working knowledge of technical field/area of specialization.
• Works under general supervision and may assist in orienting, training, and checking the work of peers.
• Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers.

Expertise: Qualifications - Education/Experience/Training

Required:

• High school diploma/G.E.D required, Associate's or technical degree preferred.
• 0.5-2 years related experience OR PBS requirements completed and pass assessment at appropriate level.
• Regular and predictable on-site attendance.
• Ability to work non-standard schedule as needed.

Physical Demands:

• Moderate work – Exerting up to 40 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs of force frequently.
