What you’ll do
  1. Execute the operational plan of engineering tasks based on designs and work specifications.
  2. Work closely with external contractors, ensuring the quality of services and products delivered.
  3. Set up or adjust complex equipment according to manufacturing specifications.
  4. Identify and implement process optimization opportunities.
  5. Diagnose, repair, and maintain packaging and support equipment to optimize efficiency and quality.
  6. Conduct line changeovers and make necessary set-up and adjustments according to the production schedule.
  7. Perform line alterations and rebuilds as necessary.
  8. Utilize data from CMMS and MES to analyze and solve routine and complex electrical and mechanical problems.
  9. Assist manufacturing personnel with process-related problems.
  10. Perform preventative maintenance and address mechanical/electrical issues identified during the process.
  11. Assist engineering with equipment installations.
  12. Repair and fabricate parts as required.
  13. Operate forklift trucks to move equipment or materials as needed.
  14. Assist and train team members in simple adjustments and maintenance tasks.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned.
