Job summary

A manufacturing company in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair various automated foundry production equipment. This full-time role requires at least three years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience and provides an opportunity to ensure operational efficiency in a high-volume environment. Candidates will work the 2nd shift from 2:30pm to 11:00pm, ensuring adherence to safety standards and machine specifications.

Qualifications

Manufacturing Maintenance | Foundry | 2nd Shift

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems on automated foundry production equipment. This role ensures equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and adherence to manufacturer specifications and safety standards in a high-volume industrial environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three (3) years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of: D.C. and A.C. electrical theory, pneumatic and hydraulic theory and practice, plumbing and piping repair theory and practice, machine repair theory and practice, including close-tolerance assembly and fits.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments and diagnostic devices.
• Understanding of machine sequencing and interrelationships, including evaluation of pressure, flow, and dimensional requirements across machine functions.
• Five (5) or more years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent journeyman-level experience.
• Work 2nd Shift | 2:30pm to 11:00pm | Monday through Friday.

This role will sit ONSITE in Syracuse, NY.
